June 5, 2018, Malvern, PA: Prominent local officials, business leaders and long-tenured hotel staff will gather at Desmond Hotel Malvern on  June 5, for the grand reopening of the Desmond Hotel Malvern, now an expanded DoubleTree by Hilton property. The event will include a retrospective conversation with community leaders, led by proprietor Michael J. Chain, Sr., about the history of the East Whiteland community and the hotel’s role in it. Following a ribbon cutting ceremony (and official first taste testing of the signature, warm DoubleTree Cookies), the Desmond Hotel Malvern team will host a pep rally to inspire its long-tenured staff.

Chef Chris, working with his network of suppliers, is committed to providing the highest quality seasonally available ingredients and will update the menu regularly to highlight the top products of the season.
