Uwchlan Ambulance Corps Receives $30,000 Contribution from Capitol Seniors Housing

January 29, 2021 (Exton, PA) ― Uwchlan Ambulance Corps (UAC) recently recieved a generous $30,000 donation from Capitol Seniors Housing (CSH). Founded in 1974, UAC’s service area covers eight townships providing lifesaving emergency care to over 65,000 residents with five ambulances, three responder units and highly trained Paramedics and EMTs who respond to over 3,500 emergency calls 24 hours a day.

“CSH’s community contribution will support vital EMS services provided to our residents in Chester County including our growing senior population. We are thankful for generous corporate citizenship and appreciate the collaborative support of municipalities like West Whiteland Township as we work to serve the growing needs of our community,” said Kathi Cozzone, UAC’s executive director. The donation will help the organization purchase life-saving equipment needed to keep up with the demands of the growing community.

UAC’s service area includes service to Arbor Terrace Exton, a senior living community offering personal and memory care, as well as a “Bridges” neighborhood that eases the transition from personal care to more comprehensive dementia care. The community is owned by CSH and is one of more than 40 independent living, assisted living and memory care communities operated by The Arbor Company.

“We’re excited to not only serve the seniors of Exton but also play a part in creating deeper connections with the community at large,” said Judd Harper, president of The Arbor Company. “Our team members strive to provide a safe and caring experience for our residents, and we look forward to living out that mission as part of the Exton community.”
