Exton, Pa. (Aug 31, 2017) — World of Beer (WOB) Exton shows their support of the Hurricane Harvey relief effort in TX with a local and TX beer tap takeover.
The location has planned an event, slated for Sept 7th, to give 75% of all draft purchase proceeds to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund by The Greater Houston Community Foundation. The tap takeover will include a selection of craft beers from Texas craft breweries and local Pennsylvania breweries, as well.
“At World of Beer, we drink local and support local, even if our craft beer ‘neighbors’ are states away. We want to support the local communities of Houston and the surrounding areas by providing a portion of our proceeds from this event to the hurricane relief effort,” says Jason Asher, General Manager of WOB Exton.
Local distributors Nevulis Beverages, Origlio, Penn Beer Sales, Stockertown Beverage, Shangy’s, Muller and 31st & W are working with WOB to support the event. Breweries participating in the event include The Brewery at Hershey, Robin Hood, Doylestown Brewing & many more.
In addition to this effort, WOB Exton is also holding a ‘Wet Nose Wednesday’ event benefiting the Houston Humane Society on Sept 6th. WOB will be grilling $1 hot dogs on the patio with live music, and give 50% of the proceeds of all bottle sales on that day to the charity.
